For The Love Of Wine and Art – Winter Reds Cellar Door Weekend

If mist rolling through bare vines, blazing fires and some hearty local fare, coupled with award winning red wines and some amazing art is up your alley, then rug up and join the Adelaide Hills Wine Region this weekend for their Winter Reds Cellar Door Weekend.

From 28 – 29 July 2012, you can capture the season of winter in the Adelaide Hills, with a range of delicious events, designed to tickle your tastebuds, and you don’t have to be a wine connoisseur to be involved.

Discover the Adelaide Hills with your own bottle of award winning red wine to enjoy nestled next to the burning fire in the Mount Lofty Country Manor Estate. Find out your palette’s range for red with Rediscover Our Reds, an exclusive master class from Riedel, showcasing some of the Hills’ finest Pinot Noir, Shiraz and Cabernet wines in an intimate tasting session. Experience the luxury of tasting from Riedel varietal specific glassware and understand more about how the shape of the glass adds to the sensory experience.  Or if arts more your thing, grab a glass of your favourite and view the shortlisted and award winning images at the Capture the Season SALA Exhibition with music by harpist Hannah Ling at the Handorf Academy.

When: 28-29 July 2012 Where: Hahndorf Academy, 68 Main Street, Hahndorf SA
